   Radio Station Coverage Maps

 Promotional and engineering coverage maps
About the coverage maps
Coverage maps can have two purposes at a radio station.
The first is to show advertisers the area a station covers. The "pretty" maps are considered part of sales promotion.
The other use, generally more "technical looking," is to submit engineering data to the FCC as a part of the licensing requirements.
An assortment of both is included here in individual state sections.
This is not intended to be a complete collection but, rather, a sampling of a very popular way of showing advertisers the benefits of radio advertising.
